Abstract
The rapid growth of the fitness industry demands increasingly efficient and structured management. H&M Gym, as one of the players in this field, faces various obstacles in its management system, such as inefficient member registration processes, suboptimal visit recording, and manual report preparation. These problems result in longer member registration processes, inefficient recording, data that is not real-time and therefore easily manipulated, as well as data duplication and loss. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based member management information system to overcome the problems faced by H&M Gym. This system was developed using the Laravel framework with a Waterfall approach, utilizing MySQL as the database and Laragon as the local server. Testing was conducted using the black box testing method to evaluate the functionality of the designed system. The test results show that the web-based member management information system designed for H&M Gym can overcome the problems faced by H&M Gym, thereby reducing the risk of recording errors and administrative delays, as well as boosting H&M Gym's competitiveness in the fitness industry in this digital era.
