Abstract

Effective waste management is a crucial aspect of maintaining environmental cleanliness and public health. However, in many rural areas, waste transportation systems are still carried out using conventional methods, leading to various operational challenges. One such case occurs in Sukatani Village, where the service ordering process, cost transparency, and the tracking of payments and transportation status remain suboptimal. This study aims to design and develop a mobile application to address these issues. The development process adopts the Scrum methodology to ensure a structured and adaptive approach. The application is built using Flutter for the user interface and Supabase as the backend. The research method includes needs analysis using the PIECES framework, system design with UML, and implementation over four sprints. Functional testing was conducted using black box testing at the end of each sprint. The results show that the application successfully provides features such as service ordering, cost estimation, digital payment through proof-of-transfer uploads, and order status tracking. All core features functioned as expected and effectively addressed the problems in the waste transportation system in Sukatani Village, particularly in improving service transparency and ease of use.
