Abstract

PT MRT Jakarta plays a crucial role in providing modern, fast, safe, and efficient mass transportation for the people of Jakarta. However, infrastructure inventory management faces challenges due to irregular demand patterns. One of the main issues is the presence of slow-moving materials, which lead to increased inventory costs and the risk of overstock and stockout, impacting operational efficiency. This study aims to optimize infrastructure inventory control by applying ABC Analysis to classify materials based on their usage value and implementing the Periodic Review (R, s, S) model, simulated using Monte Carlo Simulation. The results show that ABC Analysis categorizes materials into three groups, with Category A (26%) having the highest usage value. The implementation of the simulation model successfully reduced inventory costs by Rp 27 million to Rp 95 million per item, depending on the material category and usage frequency. Additionally, the service level, which previously ranged from 51%-81%, increased to 100%, particularly for Category A. The findings conclude that the combination of ABC Analysis and the Periodic Review model based on Monte Carlo Simulation effectively enhances inventory management efficiency, reduces storage costs, and ensures optimal stock availability to support the smooth operation of MRT Jakarta.
