Abstract

Inclusive economy serves as a strategic foundation for achieving equitable and evenly distributed growth across all regions of Indonesia. However, in the early stages of development, growth tended to concentrate in certain areas, ultimately leading to regional disparities. This study aims to analyze the effects of Government Expenditure on Economic, Health, and Education Functions, the Human Development Index, and the Information and Communication Technology Development Index on the Inclusive Economic Development Index in Indonesia during the 2014–2023 period. The method employed is the Panel Vector Error Correction Model (PVECM), and the data were processed using EViews 12 Student Version software with panel data from 34 provinces. The results show that Government Expenditure on Economic Functions and the Information and Communication Technology Development Index have a negative and significant effect in both the short and long term. Meanwhile, Government Expenditure on Health and Education Functions has a positive and significant impact in the short term, but no significant effect in the long term. The Human Development Index does not have a significant effect in the short term but shows a positive and significant effect in the long term.
