Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based accounting for Kafe Daynokopi, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) that faces problems with manual financial recording, resulting in errors, delayed reports, and difficulties in strategic decision-making. Using the structured Waterfall method, problem analysis was conducted using the PIECES approach (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) to identify efficiency and accuracy requirements. The system is designed to support cashiers in recording income, managers in recording expenses, and owners in monitoring all financial data in real-time, including debts and invoices, as well as generating automatic reports in PDF format. The operating system used for development is Windows 10 Pro, with PHP 8.4.8 and Laravel 12.x as the primary framework. The results achieved include improved accuracy, effectiveness, and transparency in the financial management of Daynokopi Café. The outputs generated include automatic daily and monthly financial reports, as well as data visualization in the form of graphs, which facilitate decision-making. The benefits include enabling owners to monitor finances in real-time, reducing the manual workload of cashiers and managers, and enhancing the effectiveness of financial transaction recording for the business.
