Abstract
This study analyzes FIFA’s inconsistent stance on humanitarian crises, using the Russia– Ukraine and Israel–Palestine conflicts as case studies. FIFA sanctioned Russia but did not take similar action against Israel, despite documented human rights violations in Palestine. A qualitative method was applied, using literature review and document analysis. The study employs theories of international organizations and the concept of double standards. Findings indicate that FIFA’s responses are driven more by global political pressure and public opinion than by its own statutes on justice and human rights. This suggests selective enforcement of humanitarian values and highlights the role of non-state actors in global politics
