Abstract
A child is the dream of every married couple, but not everyone has the opportunity to have a child and adoption is often the solution. In reality, there are still cancellations of child adoption decisions that have been made, this is because it can occur due to factors of the adopted child himself or the adoptive parents. One of them is the case of the determination of the cancellation of Child Adoption in the Nganjuk District Court No. 31 / Pdt.G / 2022 / PN NJK. Thus, there will be consequences and legal remedies from the cancellation of child adoption. For this reason, this article will discuss the problems regarding: 1. How is the Judge's consideration in issuing the Nganjuk District Court Decision No. 31 / Pdt.G / 2022 / PN NJK.?, 2. What are the consequences and legal remedies for adopted children in the determination of the cancellation of Child Adoption (Study of the Nganjuk District Court Decision No. 31 / Pdt.G / 2022 / PN Njk)?. This article was written using the normative legal research method or library legal research. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that the cancellation of adoption gives rise to new problems which are often experienced by the child as a result, such as issues regarding custody, welfare and responsibility for the care of the child.
