Abstract
Background: Osteoathritis knee is a degenerative joint disease that is a joint disease characterized by the slow depletion of joint cartilage, the cause is unknown and joint disease is the most common joint disease compared to other joint diseases. Objective: To find out the examination, problematic, intervention, and evaluation of physiotherapy in the condition of osteoarthritis knee. Research Methods: research in the form of case studies, measuring tools including numeric rating scale, goniometer, manual muscle test and Jette scale. The research sample taken was a patient who was diagnosed with Osteoathritis knee disease. Results: Through therapy 4 times, the results of pain assessment in T1 : 4 to T4 : 2, T1 : 6 to T4 : 4, increased joint range of motion S: T1 : S 0° – 0° – 110° to T4 : S 0° – 0° – 121°. Conclusion: TENS, exercise therapy (TL) with Hold Relax Exercise, Active Movement Exercise, Resissted Active Exercise can increase the range of motion of the right knee joint in the case of Osteoarthritis Knee Dextra and can increase muscle strength in the case of Osteoarthritis Knee Dextra.
