Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the digital marketing content on the Instagram account @pilem.agak.laen in terms of marketing communication and content categorization. Data were collected using observation and documentation methods, with the data sources being the posts on the @pilem.agak.laen Instagram account and related literature. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique applies Krippendorff’s content analysis (2019). The researcher followed six stages of analysis: unitizing, sampling, recording, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The results show that the content on the @pilem.agak.laen Instagram account is dominated by emotional content, followed by combined content, while informative content appears in very limited quantity. Additionally, the @pilem.agak.laen account successfully meets all the indicators of good content according to Kingsnorth (2016), which serves as evidence of the effectiveness of content distribution on the Instagram account. Lastly, the @pilem.agak.laen Instagram account utilizes the marketing communication mix in its marketing communication efforts. Although not all elements of the marketing communication mix are employed, the findings still provide clear data and analysis regarding the effectiveness and success of content marketing on the @pilem.agak.laen Instagram account through the Instagram social media platform.
