Abstract
PT. XYZ is looking for an efficient grinding wheel brand. It has relied on one brand, which could be problematic if unavailable. This study aims to determine the most efficient brand using two methods: Hybrid AHP-DEA and DEA. The AHP method assigns weights based on questionnaires, while DEA evaluates efficiency from inputs and outputs. AHP results show five main criteria: Cost, Ergonomic Aspect, Productivity, Stone Saving, and Inventory Quantity. The two methods are compared. DMU 2 (Kinik) is the most efficient, scoring 173.81% in the Hybrid AHP-DEA model and 165.98% in the DEA model. DMUs 3, 4, and 5 have similar efficiency rankings, though Super-Efficiency values differ slightly. DMU 1 ranks last with 94.41% in Hybrid AHP-DEA and 94.44% in DEA. Sensitivity analysis shows DEA and AHP have different focuses. In DEA, Ergonomic Aspect, Productivity, and Stone Saving have the most influence. In AHP, Cost is the most critical criterion. Changes in weights or removal of criteria do not significantly impact the results, showing consistency in factor influence. The hybrid AHP-DEA method provides a more comprehensive perspective. It can help PT XYZ decide on the most efficient grinding stone brands.
