Abstract

Toko Bahan Kue Cempaka is a micro-enterprise engaged in providing baking ingredients and equipment such as flour, sugar, margarine, molds, and food packaging. The transaction recording and sales management processes are still conducted manually using notebooks and paper receipts, leading to several issues, including delayed report generation, data entry errors, and difficulty tracking transaction history. Based on observations and interviews, a digital system is needed to streamline transaction processing, minimize errors, and support more accurate decision-making. This research aims to design and develop an intranet-based e-cashier system that records transactions, manages product data, and displays real-time sales reports. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which is suitable for systems with well-defined requirements from the outset. The analysis applies the PIECES framework to evaluate weaknesses in the manual system, while the system testing uses the Blackbox Testing method to ensure all features function as intended. The results show that the developed e-cashier system successfully enables more structured transaction recording, accuracy, and faster sales reporting. This system is expected to improve operational efficiency and ease of use at Toko Bahan Kue Cempaka. Keywords: e-cashier, Waterfall, PIECES, sales transaction, cake ingredients shop
