Abstract

Monitoring student academic status is a critical aspect of higher education administration. However, the AKK Bureau at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta still faces challenges due to manual data processing and the absence of real-time data visualization. This study aims to develop an analytical dashboard to monitor student academic statuses—categorized as active, inactive, on leave, dropped out, new, and graduated—at both program and faculty levels. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with an iterative approach that actively involves users. Data was retrieved from UPNVJ's official API and visualized using the Python Flask framework for the backend and Chart.js for data visualization. The system was tested using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving seven respondents comprising lecturers, faculty operators, and students. Testing results showed a 100% success rate across all 16 test scenarios. The dashboard successfully presents data visualizations in the form of scorecards, bar charts, line charts, and donut charts, with filtering features based on academic periods and study programs. The implementation of this dashboard enhances the efficiency of monitoring processes, provides real-time information access, and supports faster and more accurate decision-making for stakeholders within UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
