Abstract
The asset rental process at BUMDes Cahaya Buana Paku, Sukatani Village, is currently manual, leading to potential data input errors, duplication, delayed transactions, limited asset transparency, and excessive reliance on administrative staff. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based mobile application to support asset rental at BUMDes Cahaya Buana Paku. The application development uses the SCRUM methodology over five months. A user story approach iteratively identifies user needs, ensuring the application meets expectations. Key features include an authentication system, asset and package management, self-service rental requests, digital payment, fine management, and automatic reporting. The application was tested using Blackbox testing to verify feature functionality and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure it meets user requirements. Testing results confirm all features are successfully implemented and functional. This application transforms the manual business process into an integrated digital system, enhancing information transparency, operational efficiency, and payment compliance, with the potential to increase revenue through optimized asset utilization and systematic fine enforcement.
