Abstract

PT Solusi Prima Sentosa faces challenges in managing driver attendance and monitoring driver trips, which are still conducted manually. This conventional process leads to inefficiency, lack of real-time data, and vulnerability to fraud and human error. This study aims to design and develop a web-based system to address these issues, adopting the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, which includes stages of requirement planning, user design, system construction, and implementation. System requirements analysis utilizes the PIECES framework to identify problems in performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, and service. The developed system employs the Laravel framework and MySQL as its database. The outcome of this research is a functional web-based attendance and mileage monitoring system, featuring geolocation-based attendance to ensure employee location accuracy and real-time mileage tracking. Evaluation results using black-box testing confirm that all system functionalities operate optimally and meet the specified requirements. The developed system successfully provides solutions to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and management control at PT Solusi Prima Sentosa.
