Abstract
Wastewater is the liquid residue from various activities or operations that has the potential to pollute the environment if not properly treated. Monitoring the quality of wastewater is essential to ensure that the discharged effluent complies with environmental quality standards. This study utilizes pH, TDS, temperature, and flow sensors to monitor post-treatment wastewater parameters, with data displayed via an LCD screen and WhatsApp notifications. Each sensor was calibrated to ensure accurate measurements. Testing was conducted under actual operational conditions. The sensor readings were then compared to laboratory test results. For the pH parameter, the difference between the sensor and laboratory measurements was only 0.28. The system also demonstrated the ability to respond to user data requests and send alerts quickly and accurately via WhatsApp. This study is expected to contribute to real-time monitoring of post-treatment wastewater quality and serve as a foundation for developing systems with more diverse and accurate sensors.
