Abstract
RCS Aluminium Store is a specialty shop for the installation of glass and aluminum. Currently, RCS Aluminium Store has between ten to twenty suppliers for a single type of aluminum. Given the number of suppliers, selecting the right supplier is a crucial factor for RCS Aluminium Store to ensure a smooth supply chain. At present, the supplier selection process is still conducted manually without structured quantitative evaluation. Decision-making is largely based on trust and the store's personal experience with previous suppliers, making it often subjective and less efficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods to assist RCS Aluminium Store in evaluating and selecting suppliers based on predetermined criteria. These criteria include payment system and quality as benefit criteria, and price, delivery time, and distance as cost criteria. The result of this study is the creation of a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) that applies the AHP and SAW methods, capable of automating the supplier evaluation process and providing objective and efficient supplier recommendations.
