Abstract

This project focuses on developing a back end system for mobile applications using Laravel in order to manage and monitor inventory at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. Based on the results of interviews with the Coordinator and TU Staff in the sarpras field, it was found that the currently implemented inventory management process was still carried out manually, causing various problems, such as errors in recording, incomplete data, and delays in returning goods. The methodology used is Extreme Programming (XP), with a focus on back end development using Laravel for API endpoint creation. The developed "Inventory FIK UPNVJ” application supports various functions, including recording and updating inventory data, managing the process of borrowing and returning goods, sending notifications, and automatically generating reports. System testing is done through unit testing and black box testing to ensure that the application functions properly and according to user needs. With the development of this back end system, it is expected to create an efficient integration with the Flutter-based front end, thus increasing accuracy and efficiency in inventory management in the faculty.
