Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the legal policy on the Equitable Energy Transition Partnership as an effort to finance the energy transition in power plants. The normative legal research method is used in this study with a legislative approach and a conceptual approach. The results of this study indicate that in handling the global climate crisis with increasing greenhouse gas emissions, the energy transition in power plants is a path that can be taken by Indonesia with the existence of Equitable Energy Transition Partnership financing funds, so that in addition to funding, the role of the government needs to draft laws and legal policies for the Equitable Energy Transition Partnership to realize the transition to new renewable energy in power plants that can provide legal certainty and also provide investment opportunities for the country.
