Abstract

Dynamic website with large amounts of data and considerable size require more time when fetching from server’s database. This is the limitation of dynamic website which static website do not have, this causes rendering and performance of static website is faster than dynamic website. Implementing Static Site Generator (SSG) made website application static with dynamically produced data. This research look for performance difference on design and development of dynamic website and after implementing SSG with analyzing using Google Lighthouse tools. Performance analysis shows improvement on 4 out of 6 test metrics when comparing dynamic website and after implementing SSG. Performance score increases from 41 to 99, LCP from 30.8 to 0.9 second, TBT from 1,730 millisecond to 20 millisecond, and Speed Index increases from 2 second to 0.7 second.
