Abstract
Bullying is a prevalent issue with long-term effects on adolescents' well-being. Religiosity is believed to promote positive behavior and prevent negative actions, such as bullying. This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and bullying among adolescents using a cross-sectional approach. Conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiat Kheir School from August to December 2024, the study involved 103 adolescent respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data collection used the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire (OBVQ) and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS-15). Univariate analysis employed a proportion test, while bivariate analysis used the Spearman correlation test. The findings showed a moderate level of religiosity and a low level of bullying behavior. The Spearman correlation coefficient of -0.306 indicated a moderate negative relationship, suggesting that higher religiosity is associated with lower bullying behavior. The p-value of 0.002 (<0.05) confirmed a significant relationship between the two variables. It is recommended that adolescents embrace religious values and participate in educational programs on the effects of bullying to help prevent such behavior.
