Abstract

Central Sulawesi Province is known as a region with abundant natural resources, including the mining and energy sector, which is one of its key industries. Despite significant economic growth and high investment levels, the minimum wage in Central Sulawesi ranks as the 8th lowest in Indonesia. This indicates complex challenges in wage management within the province. The aim of this study is to rank the factors influencing wage levels, including GRDP, investment, labor force participation rate (LFPR), Human Development Index (HDI), technology usage, Gini ratio, and government spending. The study employs the Multi-Criteria Decision Making method “PROMETHEE.” The objects of the study are the 13 regencies/municipalities within Central Sulawesi Province.Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that out of the 13 regencies/municipalities ranked through outranking, 7 regencies/municipalities have positive Phi values, while 6 have negative Phi values. The regencies/municipalities with favorable wage conditions include Palu City, Banggai Regency, and North Morowali Regency. In contrast, regions with relatively low wages are Donggala Regency, Banggai Islands Regency, and Banggai Laut Regency.
