Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that aims to see the effect of competence, independence, and auditor ethics on quality. This research was conducted on auditors who work at KAP Jakarta area. This study used purposive sampling technique and obtained 240 auditors as respondents. Research data using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPls 4.0 software and a significance level of 5% (0.05). The results obtained from the test show that (1) auditor competence has a positive and insignificant effect on audit quality; (2) auditor independence has a significant positive effect on audit quality; (3) auditor ethics has a significant positive effect on audit quality.
