Abstract

The effect of audit fees, audit tenure, and company size on audit quality is examined in this study. The samples studied in this study are manufacturing companies in the basic & chemical industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The overall fit model test was carried out to determine the right model in analyzing 201 data samples from the company's annual report for 2021-2023 which were selected using a purposive sampling approach. After conducting the classical assumption test, the sample was then tested using logistic regression, the coefficient of determination, and partial tests. The results of this study indicate that audit fees have no effect on audit quality. Meanwhile, the audit tenure and company size variables have a positive effect on audit quality. Implications for companies and auditors are given in this study in determining good audit policies.
