Abstract

Along with the ever-growing economic dynamics, the banking industry faces challenges in maintaining optimal financial performance. Profitability is one of the important aspects that determine the sustainability and competitiveness of banks. Therefore, banks are required to manage assets and liabilities effectively in order to increase their ability to generate profits. The bank in question is Bank KBMI 1 which won the Top Bank Award 2024 according to theiconomics.com. This final project aims to determine the level of profitability of Bank KBMI 1 for the 2021-2023 period using the profitability ratios ROA, ROE, BOPO and NIM. The writing method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with data collection techniques through literature studies and documentation. The data sources selected are secondary data obtained from the Annual Report and financial reports published by each bank. The results of writing this final project show that there are fluctuations in the profitability ratios of each Bank KBMI 1 during the observed period. The results of this final project can be used as a consideration for management in making strategic decisions to improve the company's financial performance in the future.
