Abstract
DR-TB is one of the challenges in TB control program. DKI Jakarta is one of the provinces in Indonesia with the highest number of TB cases. TB treatment success rates in DKI Jakarta that have not reached the Strategic Plan target will certainly increase the number of DR TB cases. This study was designed to determine the prevalence of DR-TB and risk factors that influence DR-TB in DKI Jakarta in 2021-2022. This was a cross-sectional study with a total sample of 16.543 TB patients. The data used in this study is TB surveillance data sourced from DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office and analyzed until multivariate analysis. The results showed the prevalence of DR-TB was 9.9%. The multivariate analysis revealed that patients who had a history of failed TB treatment (P=0.00; POR=29.61; 95% CI 3.25 - 11.38), DM (P=0.00; POR=1.42; 95% CI 1.17 - 1.74), prisoner (P=0.00; POR=6.37; 95% CI 3.40 - 11.95), and HIV (P=0.87; POR=1.04; 95% CI 0.60 - 1.80) had a significant association with DR-TB in DKI Jakarta. This study showed that the prevalence of DR-TB in DKI Jakarta is quite high and the factors that influence DR-TB are TB treatment history, DM, employment status, and HIV.
