Abstract
Nutritional status excess and deficiency are nutritional issues that occur during the growth and development stages of adolescents. In 2018, the prevalence of undernutrition among adolescents was 6.7% while 9.5% were classified as overweight. These figures represent an increase over the past 5 years, by 0.4% for undernutrition and 2.2% for overweight compared to the preceding 5-year period. The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of sleep quality, stress levels, and sugar-sweetened beverage consumption on the nutritional status of adolescents at SMK Ekonomika Depok. The study utilized a cross-sectional design with stratified random sampling, involving 130 students from SMK Ekonomika Depok as the sample. Data collected included sleep quality, stress levels, and patterns of sugar-sweetened beverage consumption. Bivariate analysis conducted using Spearman's rank correlation test showed that sleep quality (p = 0.000, r = 0.491) and sweetened beverage consumption patterns (p = 0.000, r = 0.623) significantly influenced the nutritional status of adolescents at SMK Ekonomika Depok. However, stress levels (p = 0.064, r = 0.163) did not show a significant influence on the nutritional status of these adolescents.
