Abstract
Stunting is a multifactorial problem of growth and development disorders in children. Stunting has adverse consequences for cognitive ability, growth disorders, and degenerative diseases. This study aims to determine the spatial analysis of stunting incidence in children under-five-years in West Java Province in 2022. This study used ecological studies with observational descriptive methods. Secondary data was from the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the West Java Provincial Health Office. Data analysis was in spatial distribution and spatial autocorrelation with Moran's I, Moran's Scatterplot, LISA, and BiLISA. The study findings that there were no spatial autocorrelation stunting in children under-five-years in West Java Province in 2022. Low Birth Weight (LBW) and vitamin A administration form a cluster, and access to healthy latrines forms a dispersed pattern with stunting. Stunting hotspot areas in West Java are Tasikmalaya Regency and Sumedang Regency. This study concluded that stunting in West Java was not associate geographically. Variables that have spatial autocorrelation with stunting, namely LBW, vitamin A administration, and access to healthy latrines. This study recommends that the West Java Provincial Government and related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in regencies/cities focus on stunting hotspots or cluster areas to address the risk factors of stunting comprehensively.
