Abstract
Background: Spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy is a motor nerve disorder that can occur during the perinatal, natal and postnatal periods and is permanent. This condition is characterized by spasticity in all four limbs (upper extremities and lower extremities) which affects the child's growth and development.. Purpose: This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how physiotherapy is managed in patients experiencing Spastic Quadriplegi Cerebral Palsy. Methods: This research uses a case study method, in which there is an examination using initial impressions, the Modified Asworth Scale, Gross Motor Function Measurement, and the Gross Motor Function Classification System. Results After carrying out physiotherapy intervention using Neurodevelopment Therapy, Neck Capital Flexion, Hydrotherapy, and assistive devices for 3 times, the results were obtained that there were changes experienced by the patient in alerteness and spasticity values. Conclusion: Interventions physiotherapy given to Spastic Quadriplegi Cerebral Palsy children provide changes in the child's alertness and spasticity scores.
