Abstract

Hydroponic plant growth is affected by pH, TDS, and nutrient water temperature. Manual monitoring is time-consuming and labor-intensive, so remote monitoring is necessary. This research aims to design and build an ESP32-based automatic hydroponic water quality stabilization system integrated through Blynk, and analyze the accuracy and precision of the DS18B20 pH, TDS, and temperature sensors. The Research and Development (R&D) method was used to design, build, and test the hydroponic plant nutrient water quality stabilization system. This research successfully developed and implemented an automatic wick system hydroponic plant water quality stabilization system based on ESP32 microcontroller. The system can be controlled remotely through the Blynk application and shows high accuracy and precision in sensor readings. The pH sensor shows 98.76% accuracy, 99.55% precision, and 0.019 accuracy specifications. The TDS sensor achieved 99.69% accuracy, 96.64% precision, and 2.518% accuracy specifications. The DS18B20 temperature sensor recorded 99.83% accuracy and 94.87% precision. This ESP32-based automatic hydroponic nutrient water quality stabilization system integrated through Blynk is proven effective and accurate in monitoring and controlling nutrient water parameters for optimal hydroponic plant growth.
