Abstract
Data security is a crucial aspect given the rapid advancement of information technology. Sensitive data that is not properly protected can pose significant risks, including financial loss, reputational damage, and leakage of company strategies. This study aims to implement a security system on the database of PT Alvin Faris Mandiri using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) technique. TDE is used to encrypt sensitive data so that it can only be accessed by users with legitimate access rights. The implementation of TDE aims to protect data from unauthorized access, even if the data is physically stolen or copied. The results show that TDE is effective in maintaining data security without significantly impacting system performance. Additionally, the implementation of TDE also raises awareness about the importance of data security within the environment of PT Alvin Faris Mandiri.
