Abstract
In today's industries in Indonesia, many activities that used to be done manually have now been replaced by technology. But not infrequently, there are still many industries that still utilize human labor manually in carrying out their activities, such as lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, holding, moving, and so on. These activities are often carried out without paying attention to ergonomic posture, the consequences that will arise from Manual Material Handling activities if carried out unergonomically and continuously are accidents to workers, one of which is a disorder of the musculoskeletal system. PT Anugerah Bersama Sejahtera is a company that produces plastic-based products, this company although using sophisticated machines, but still involves human labor in the work process. Based on the results of observations, unergonomic work postures were found in workers when doing their jobs. For this reason, a work posture analysis study was conducted to design ergonomic work aids to minimize unergonomic work postures using the PEI method integrated with the REBA, RULA, and OWAS methods and using the QEC method to determine the risk of injury to workers. Based on the results of research using the REBA, RULA, OWAS, PEI and QEC methods, it was found that the packing work station is the work station that has the highest risk of injury. Therefore, ergonomic work aids were designed.
