Abstract
The return of excess budget spending funds is an essential aspect in maintaining accountability and transparency in regional financial management. This research examines the procedure for returning excess budget spending funds at the Regional Financial Management Agency (Badan Keuangan Daerah/BKD) of Depok City. The purpose of this final project is to provide a comprehensive overview of the fund return practice and identify the procedures, sections, and related documents in the fund return process at the BKD based on existing regulations. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the fund return procedure at the BKD of Depok City is in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations, namely Government Regulation No. 12 of 2019 concerning Regional Financial Management. Financial Management Agency of Depok City.
