Abstract
The current era of globalization encourages the development of technology to all aspects of life, including in the field of education. Technology is used as information processing, one of which is to help book lending services in the library. Starting from book data collection, member data collection, and data collection of borrowing and returning books. However, the application of services at SMPN 218 Jakarta still uses conventional methods that have not been computerized, thus making the service process slow and data collection of books and members becomes unorganized. The process of storing library information at SMPN 218 Jakarta is done by recording in an archive book, making the search for borrowing and returning information take a long time. Therefore, a system is needed that can record borrowing and returning books and manage data more quickly and efficiently. The design of Information Systems for Website-Based Library Book Borrowing and Returning is carried out using the Agile method and using PIECES analysis. This system is made using PHP programming language and MySQL for storage in the database.
