Abstract

For a restaurant, inventory is very important because it is related to the quality of raw In this digital age, information systems play a key role in business sustainability, including in inventory management in the culinary sector. Coffee restaurant Konnichiwa Beji Depok, which still uses manual methods to record stocks of raw materials, faces various constraints, such as difficulties in monitoring daily stocks, inefficiencies in reporting, and potential errors in data processing. With conventional stock management, the stock monitoring process is performed conventionally using Microsoft Excel, which is considered less efficient and vulnerable to human error. To address this problem, the raw material management at Konnichiwa Beji Depok Coffee uses the LIFO (Last In First Out) and FIFO methods to ensure quality and operational efficiency. However, this method cannot fully address the problems arising from conventional management. Therefore, it is necessary to have a computerized information system capable of improving efficiency and accuracy in inventory management. The research aims to design and develop a comprehensive web-based information system for inventory management at Kopi Konnichiwa Beji Depok. The system is designed to include features such as real-time monitoring of raw material stocks, automatic warnings for minimum stocks and raw materials approaching expiration dates, as well as a reporting module capable of presenting inventory and operational reports in real time. It is expected to automate the inventory recording process, provide real time information on the level of stockpiles, and generate comprehensive reports to support decision-making related to the purchase and use of raw materials. With the implementation of this information system, Konnichiwa Beji Depok Coffee can improve the efficiency and accuracy of managing raw materials stocks. Employees can easily record input and exit transactions of raw materials, monitor supply levels in real time, and access relevant reports to identify raw material usage trends. As a result, the system not only improves operational efficiency, but also has a positive impact on overall business performance, such as reducing raw material waste and increasing customer satisfaction. This research can also be a reference for the development of inventory information systems in other small and medium-sized culinary.The research methods used include direct observations, interviews with stakeholders, and library studies to obtain relevant references. Observations are made to understand the ongoing inventory recording process, while interviews are conducted to gain a deeper insight into the problems encountered in inventory management. Library studies are used to gather the theories and best practices that support the development of this information system.
