Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Disease is a disease characterized by a gradual decrease in kidney function that is no longer able to recover or return perfectly as before so that the body cannot maintain metabolism and electrolyte fluid balance. This study was conducted to gain real experience in applying the results of nursing research, especially nursing care to patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. The method in writing used is descriptive method. In the descriptive method the approach used is a case study where the author manages one case using the nursing process. The methods used to collect data are interviews, observations, physical examinations, documentation studies and literature reviews. Nursing diagnoses established in this case are hypervolemia associated with impaired regulatory mechanisms, ineffective peripheral perfusion associated with decreased hemoglobin concentration, activity intolerance associated with weakness. After 3x24 hours of nursing care, the evaluation results are 2 partially resolved nursing diagnoses and 1 nursing diagnosis that has not been resolved because further examination is needed to determine other etiologies. It is hoped that further research can carry out nursing care in chronic kidney disease patients properly and appropriately in order to achieve the nursing problems found in patients.
