Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the legal certainty related to the criminal act of trading influence in corruption. As well as how it is regulated in national law. This research uses a normative juridical research method by linking statutory approaches, case studies and concepts from legal science theory. As for the results of this research, it shows that there is no legal certainty in the application of criminalization in influence peddling as an effort to eradicate corruption. Because if we look at the national regulation in Indonesia, it only refers to Law Number 7 of 2006 concerning the Ratification of the United Nations Conventions Against Corruption, 2003 (United Nations Convention Against Corruption, 2003) as a prohibition of its actions. However, until now Indonesia still has not regulated the application of the criminal act of trading in influence in national law until now
