Abstract
CV . Rides Sakti Prima is a company engaged in printing . The company is using the system to make to order production activities . This study aims to calculate the cost of production to order in January 2013 to March 2013 ( 20 kinds of products such as forms and receipts ) . The calculation of the cost of production is done by identifying three types of costs required for the manufacture of products that raw material costs , labor costs , and overhead costs . Based on the calculation of the cost of production which has been carried out , showed that the cost of production for the month of January to March 2013 is Rp 42,382,670 , Rp 40,926,138 and Rp 40,423,165 . Cost of production resulting from this study is different when compared to the cost of production is determined by the company in the amount of USD 41,232,005 , USD 39,791,437 and USD 39,252,500 . This is due to differences in the calculation of overheads such as telephone charges , cost of machinery depreciation , and depreciation of the building . The results of this study can be used as a reference in determining the selling price of the product on future bookings.
