Abstract
The purpose of the research is to shed light on the importance of family communication in the process of helping adolescent girls who are fatherless choose a possible life mate. Young women without fathers frequently deal with emotional and psychological difficulties that may affect their decision to find a life mate. Thus, the main focus of this research is on how family communication influences the views and beliefs that fatherless female adolescents have about romantic relationships. A phenomenological approach is taken in the qualitative research methodology. In-depth interviews with the parents of the fatherless girls and other family members were used to gather data, along with observations of the dynamics of family communication. The adolescent girl's decision regarding a potential life partner was influenced by family communication, which was determined by theme analysis of the data. The results of this research suggest that the perspectives of fatherless female adolescents regarding romantic relationships are significantly influenced by communication within the family. Parentless teenage females can benefit from the family's moral ideals, emotional support, and open communication in developing healthy standards and perceptions of possible life mates. On the other hand, fatherless young ladies may find it challenging to go through the process of selecting a life partner due to poor communication and instability in the home. This research sheds light on the significance of family communication in helping fatherless young women make decisions about their future. The current research offers a comprehensive understanding of the role that family communication plays in helping young women without fathers make decisions about who they will marry. The implications of these findings can serve as a foundation for the creation of support and intervention programs meant to enhance family communication and assist female adolescents without fathers in making wise choices about their romantic relationships.
