Abstract

In the credit agreement between the bank and the debtor, there is a risk that cannot be avoided, namely bad credit. There is a rescue of problematic credit, such as can be achieved by saving credit by banks, capital investment in the financial sector, and temporary capital investment in debtor-owned companies. What is the resolution if a debtor experiences bad credit that occurs at a Rural Credit Bank and how is the legal protection for debtors affected by bad credit in credit at a Rural Credit Bank. This research uses a normative juridical research type with a statutory approach and literature collection. The results of this research are that Rural Banks always try to resolve problem loans in a friendly manner. However, if it is not resolved, resolve problem loans by referring to applicable laws and regulations. Debtors' legal protection is protected by a standard agreement implemented between the bank and the customer.
