Abstract

This study examines the design and materials of the landing gear of the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) aircraft using numerical and analytical methods. Which when testing numerical methods using ANSYS software. The material uses Aluminum 6061 and Aluminum 5052. The design of the UAV uses three types, namely Main Landing Gear, Tricycle Landing Gear and Quadricycle Landing Gear. Which the simulation and numerical results prove that the landing gear design with the Quadricycle Landing Gear type has the advantage of minimizing pressure with Aluminum 6061 material which is safer than Aluminum 5052 when viewed from the bending stress.
