Abstract
The development of online games in the 21st century is becoming increasingly diverse. Moreover, there are online games that are free and easily accessible via phone or smartphone. The many options in the game make players want to buy microtransactions in it, both functionally and emotionally. With the high interest in buying microtransactions, game developers make use of them and make them their source of income from microtransactions. This has great potential to increase state revenue, which is strengthened by increasing user data and the number of users who spend their money on microtransactions. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of looking at the influence of the existing factors on the purchase of microtransactions in online games for gamers. The analytical technique used in this study is a continuous analysis technique using Micmac software with the results of the research as follows: 1) the type of existing gacha device and system affects the amount of expenditure for microtransactions, 2) this study classifies several variables that have been broken down from various cluster of variables into four topologies, namely a) determinant variables, namely devices and gacha, b) relay variables, namely compulsive nature, in-game needs, playing intensity, bonuses, persuasive properties, promos and discounts, progress acceleration, social value, functional value, time management, desire to buy, economic value, desire to play, money management, and intensity of use, c) output variables, namely virtual goods, emotional value, impulsive nature, and d) autonomous variables, namely over spent, saving, cost.
