Abstract
One of the main goals that must be achieved by banks as financial institutions is profit because it greatly influences the development of banking in all of its operational activities. Given the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in the previous two years and will have an impact on Bank Mega Syariah's profits, the bank's profits from 2012 to 2021 will fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of third party funds and other operating income on the profits of Bank Mega Syariah, with financing as an intervening variable (intermediary). Quantitative methods were used in this study, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and path analysis. This study applies secondary data, namely the annual report of Bank Mega Syariah. According to the findings of the study, financing is significantly influenced by third party funds. Meanwhile, financing was not significantly affected by other operating income. Furthermore, net profit is significantly influenced by third party funds. Net profit is not significantly affected by financing or other operating income. Path analysis then reveals that third party funds and other operating income have no significant effect on net income through financing.
