Abstract
ABSTRACT Fintech is an innovation in the financial sector. Of course, this financial innovation gets a touch of modern technology. One of the facilities owned by fintech is online loans that makes it easier for the public to lend money with certain terms and conditions that have been stated in the online agreement. However despite the convenience that it provides, the perpetrator of crimes used the weakness from this technology therefore creates a new problem in this era. The purpose of writing this thesis is to inform the public about the crimes of online loans. This study uses a normative research method by examining the law from an internal perspective and legal norms as the object of the research. The writing technique uses descriptive analysis. By referring to the factors causing the occurrence of online loan crimes and law enforcement efforts. The role of the law enforcement officers is very much needed, especially in thoroughly investigating online loan crimes. Keywords: Crime, Online Loans, Criminal
