Abstract

Anemia is still a serious health problem in Indonesia. In young women, anemia can have a bad impact in the future if it is not treated immediately. To prevent this, a blood supplement tablet supplementation program was held for young women. However, compliance in taking blood added tablets is still low. For this reason, this study aims to determine what factors influence the intentions of young women in consuming blood-added tablets. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 72 young women in Sirnagalih Village, which were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by filling out online questionnaires. Data analysis used Chi-square test and logistic regression test. The results of this study indicate that the factors that have a significant relationship with adolescent girls' intentions to consume blood-added tablets are perceived benefits (p = 0.00) and self-efficacy (p = 0.00). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between perceived benefits and self efficacy with adolescent girls' intention to consume blood-added tablets.
