Abstract

Technology plays a role as a container that helps human life. But the role of technology is not yet fully present in business actors, for example Yukikage Restaurant. Yukikage Restaurant currently still uses a manual raw material inventory data collection system using Microsoft Excel, so that the work process takes a long time and causes data differences between the center and branches. Not only that, the use of systems that are still manual has a fairly high risk such as data loss, data redundancy, and data corruption. For this reason, the authors design an information system for raw material inventory to help facilitate the handling and data collection of raw materials and minimize the risks that will occur in Yukikage Restaurant. The author uses the waterfall system design method, Unified Modeling Language (UML) visual modeling, and PIECES problem analysis. This system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study produce a web that is able to assist the process of handling and collecting raw material data properly in real time and up to date.
