Abstract
Power plant is a vital object that supports the country's economy. In this sector, power plants are a pillar of the country's economy, all of which must always be maintained in order to operate optimally to maintain the performance of the power plant. Maintenance carried out is Turbine Inspection (TI). This study aims to determine the effect of Turbine Inspection on the performance and exergy of gas turbines. The effect of Turbine Inspection is seen from compressor efficiency, turbine efficiency, thermal efficiency, specific fuel consumption, and exergy efficiency. Therefore, the authors attempt to calculate and analyze the performance and exergy of gas turbines for Turbine Inspection activities. The data taken is operating data for July 2020 – January 2022. The calculation process is carried out theoretically and using cycle tempo software. The results of the analysis obtained are compressor efficiency, the largest value occurred in January 2022 of 87.76% and the smallest value occurred in May 2021 of 85.36%, turbine efficiency, the largest value occurred in January 2022 of 89.20% and the smallest value occurred in February 2021 of 87.12%, thermal efficiency, the largest value occurred in January 2022 of 37.34% and the smallest value occurred in July 2021 of 29.86%, fuel consumption, the largest value occurred in July 2021 at 0.204 kg/kwh and the smallest occurred in January 2022 at 0.169 kg/kwh, and exergy efficiency, the largest value was in January 2022 with a value of 41.04% and the smallest exergy efficiency was in in July 2021 by 33.99%.
