Abstract
Resilience is a human ability to adapt in the face of sadness, and the constant and significant stresses in life. Resilience in families during the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly undergone many changes due to significant changes, if this resilience process does not go well the impact that will arise is that it can trigger anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and anxiety in elderly family caregivers with comorbidities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses the Chi-Square test with a descriptive analytical cross sectional approach, the sample is 85 family caregiver respondents and the sample is taken using a total sampling technique. Data were taken using the CD-RISC 25 questionnaire as a resilience measure and ZSRAS as an anxiety measure, both of these questionnaires have been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between resilience and the level of anxiety of the elderly family caregiver with comorbidities with a p value of 0.00 (p < 0.05). The higher the resilience of the family caregiver, the lower the level of anxiety experienced.
