Abstract
Background: High-risk groups are those who have a higher chance of contracting COVID-19. When high-risk groups are infected can cause severe illness or death. Besides that, the non-high-risk group is the one that has a low probability of contracting COVID-19. When non-high-risk groups are infected, they do not feel symptoms or only experience mild symptoms. Women, including high-risk groups, are pregnant women, lactating women, perimenopausal women, and women with comorbidities. While women in the non-high-risk group are women of childbearing age who are not pregnant, are not breastfeeding, or have no comorbidities. COVID-19 infection can affect a person's quality of life. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the quality of life after being infected with COVID-19 women in high-risk and non-high-risk groups at the Kebagusan Sub-District Health Center. Method: The research design used was cross-sectional with a sample of 206 respondents who were divided into 103 high-risk women and 103 non-high-risk women through a proportional random sampling technique. Data was collected through google form using the Ferrans and Power Quality of Life Index (QLI) Generic Version questionnaire. Results: The results of the statistical test through a computer program using the Mann-Whitney test (p-value = 0.142, 0.352, 0.252, 0.034, 0.549) showed that there were differences in quality of life in the psychological/spiritual domain and there was no difference in the quality of life in the total score, health and function domains, social and economic domains, and family domains. Conclusion: There are differences in the quality of life in the psychological/spiritual domain between women at high risk and women non-high-risk after being infected with COVID-19 at the Kebagusan Sub-District Health Center and there are no differences in quality of life in the total score, health and function domains, social and economic domains, and the family domain between women at high risk and women non-high-risk after being infected with COVID-19 at the Kebagusan Sub-District Health Center. Recommendations for further research can be experimental research through a quasi-experimental design that can test interventions to improve the psychological/spiritual of respondents.
