Abstract

PT Katarina Utama Tbk or known as RINA is a company engaged in the installation, testing and feasibility testing of telecommunication products and equipment. The main director of PT Katarina Utama is Fazli bin Zainal Abidin (Murti, n.d.). PT Katarina Utama Tbk has been established in Indonesia since June 20, 1997 based on notarial deed of Miryam Magdalena Indriani Wiardy, SH Number 88. Where the deed of establishment has been approved by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia in Decree Number C2-10.522.HT.01.01TH.1997 on October 8, 1997 and has been announced in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 on March 23, 1999 (Rivandi, 2014). The problem at PT Katarina Utama Tbk is related to the control of Good Corporate Governance or GCG which has not been realized properly. Where PT Katarina Utama is alleged to have manipulated the 2009 audited financial statements by including a number of fictitious receivables in order to increase the value of the company's assets (Murti, n.d.).
