Abstract
Banking has an important role in improving the economy of a country. This is because banking is a financial institution whose main activity is to collect funds from the public in the form of Current Accounts, Savings, and Time Deposits. Then channel it back to the community in the form of credit. Based on this matter, the authors conducted a review of the Role of Tandamata Savings in Increasing Third Party Fund Sources at Bank BJB. With the intent and purpose of knowing how the role of savings in increasing third party funding sources at Bank BJB, how is the development of signature savings at Bank BJB. How is the development of third-party products at Bank BJB? The author can conclude that the savings account is very instrumental in increasing the source of third-party funds at Bank BJB. This is because the Tandamata savings account has the largest number of customer deposits, which is Rp. 10,952,597,440,490 - Rp. 12,526,887,097,138 of the total TPF at Bank BJB, which is Rp. 24.5 trillion – Rp. 34.7 trillion, or if presented as a savings account, has a composition of 35.77% - 45.77%. So, Tandamata savings is a third-party product with the largest role or contribution in increasing third-party funding sources at Bank BJB compared to other third-party savings products such as current accounts and time deposits.
